I’m a huge fan of the feminist humour website The Toast, and my super secret personal goal for 2015 was to write an article for them. I’m happy to say that I managed it! Here is my first ever freelance article, written on the topic of (of course) Harry Potter. I also put my chemistry degree to (debatably) goodContinue reading “I wrote an article for The Toast!”

The Most Wonderful Announcement!
As some of you may know, I was lucky enough to be offered a book deal while I was still at University. While this was amazing, it did leave me with a big question: what was I going to do when I graduated? This was a huge shock, especially as I wasn’t told and only found out when the closure hit the news. It’s very upsetting that my book won’t be published in the USA in Spring 2016 as planned,Continue reading “Bad news.”
Writing an LGBT protagonist
I have something that I guess is an announcement, but I don’t really think of it like that. It’s just something I’ve not mentioned online before. Ever. My second book, the sequel to The Next Together, which doesn’t have a firm title yet, has an LGBT protagonist. The main character is a lesbian. I’m notContinue reading “Writing an LGBT protagonist”
